Holy sturgeon batman

Check this pic out, a buddy emailed me it earlier today.

"Scary to think there are fish this size swimming in MN waters.

This sturgeon weighed out at over 1,000lbs and measured out at 11'1".
It was 56" around the girth and took over 6 and a half hours for the
4 guys taking turns reeling. It was caught at the mouth of the Rainy River"

Did some snooping online and actually it's a white sturgeon and was caught in BC not Minn.
The fish was released as is mandatory for this species

At least these guys didnt try to load over 1000lbs of fish into a flats boat like Mr. Hammerhead... that would have been a Darwin award waiting to happen... (see the thread about the WR Hammerhead)
