Duke - just saw this as I've been on vacation since the day this happened . . . I was caught up in the traffic and got by it shortly after the first cop arrived . . . your buddy was talking to the State Trooper and was white as a ghost - looked like it scared the crap out of him!
Looked like he was towing with a big white pickup truck . . . the boat and trailer (or what was left of it) was in the median - the boat was off the trailer and ahead of it - as if it had "slingshot" off and forward of the trailer. Eeerily the boat was sitting perfectly upright - the boat fenders with maroon covers still in the bow holders
. . . glad everyone was OK - things can be replaced - people can't be.
