I have a 1973 Merc model 110, 9.8 HP that was dug out of a shed and tuned up, runs good. Problem is the prop hub appears to be spun, and I cant get the existing prop off. The prop is held on with a 5/8-inch "cap nut" (with a weird red end). The motor turns over when its turned in one direction, and it spins on the hub/clicks in the other, so I cant get the ^&%( thing off. Anybody got any advice on removing the prop?? Thx
