Scout and SeaFox Boats

Anyone have any feedback on Scout or SeaFox? I hope to be looking at a Bay style boat and the Scout and SeaFox lines look interesting. I liked what I saw at the show last year for the Polar boats, but I don't like the freeboard in their bay series. The Scout 240 and 220 Bay have a 16 degree deadrise, while the Polar is actually less than my Lund (15) at 12.5.

Then there is the stripped down approach (less storage, rod lockers amenities etc) with something like the KeyLargo 210 with a 17 degree deadrise in their 21 foot center console bay boat. Or I could try to make their 190 hull suite my purpose, I'm just not sure I want to try to try to mount a 36V trolling motor on that and attempt to fit it out with 4 batteries and on board charger. I know that hull will likely be the better ride, but I'm not sure how much jury-rigging I want to get involved with.

Many of the Redfish tournament or striper tournament guys on Sunday morning are running in the boat I'd like, but I don't think many up this way really have much experience in those style boats. It's tough to have your cake and eat it too, but this might be my last boat purchase, so I'd like to get this one right. My perfect boat would be trailerable, under 24 feet, able to easly take a 36V trolling motor and 3 batteries, have some dry storage, have a decent size livewell and maybe a secondary baitwell, run fast and hopefully drier than I'm used to with power at or under 150 HP. Hope to look this winter for a serious purchase.

Tight lines.
