That looks like a hard bait to me. If so they have one of the best swimming action I have seen in a hard bait. For trolling it looks awesome. If it is hard it will stand up much better to bluefish.

Most arge rubber or plastic baits have a "paddle tale" that drives the action. I have used lots of the rubber ones and they work great but they are disposable. I bought one of those big trouts for $15 from some west coast outfit and swam that off Nomans on wire line and it lasted a good min to min and 30 seconds before it was hit by a bass. Next pass a bluefish had its way with it and that was the end of Mr. trout. The action in this plug looks to be coming from the lip and not the tail...if it is a hard bait it could be a good plug.
