Just had this happen to me. The worst part was that it was a co-worker that I don't communicate with much so we couldn't laugh it off.
Well....she needed help with something that doesn't necessarily fall into my responsibilities. I guess you could say it was a natural defense mechanism.
Hope she learned her lesson.
