Personally, I think it's a crock o doo. In the case that you state, I believe it may either be a counterfeit sign or an inside job to keep us nasty knuckle dragging fishermen away from someone's trophy home. Seen it before. No signs until a fisherman is spotted. How many people are poisoned by mercury in this country?
Fred, it's an official sign by the F&W. It's Great Pond. I don't mind the catch and release thing, hatchery trout taste like crap anyhoo and the potential for the next ice season gets better too!
