At the Gas Pump

Yesterday as I was fueling up and glareing at the price, a bright yellow Hummer pull up on the other side. The driver eyeballs my multicolor truck and loaded rod rack and feels the need to bond. By telling me how rediculous the price of fuel is and how we're forced to over-use petro energy by not having an alternate fuel for our homes.
I looked him up and down and stated that we're all idiots because we elected (or nor) a Texas oilman as our leader and we're paying nearly 3 frigin bucks a gallon, we're occupying a country with the world's largest untapped oil supply. Not that I'm willing to trade blood for oil, ever. And btw, what do you get for milage with that ark?

The silence was heavy...

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.
