Happy Holiday instead of Memorial Day?

Has Memorial Day gone down the same politically correct road as Christmas and Easter?
Today I saw a public works sign blinking "Have a safe and Happy Holiday"
Also today some of my accounts wished me a Happy Holiday Weekend.
Are they told by their Corp. office to say this? I know my company refers to Merry Christmas as Happy Holiday. That erks me enough, now I have to deal with it on Memorial Day Too?
What about July 4th and Veteran's day?
Like on Veteran's day I am going to wish my Korean War Veteran neighbor "Happy Holiday". NOT!
I am not going to bow down to this Politically correct crap. I don't at the Christmas season and I Will Not on Memorial Day Weekend.
This year, like last year I am going to hang my 2 American Flags on the front of my 5er and then I am going to think about my Uncle that never came home to tell me stories of flying in a B-29 Bomber.
I am also going to think of the 3000 plus Soldiers that have died thus far in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Have a Safe and Happy Memorial Day Weekend.
