The gate keeper thang is a new addition since my time @ goose.. The SW rock pile extends 300' from shore. Awesome spot! Can get kinda messy there, be careful. Also, Allen's Pond to the east is a beautiful spot. It is several miles from gooseberry, worth the trip. The pond starts to empty 2.5 hours after Westport high tide.
	1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN. I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock. 2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.
