You work in the school system? if the person is a teacher or works around children this is not good.

The only thing that can help is get him involved in AA and he must go to a meeting at least once a day sometimes twice works morning and night. Go to meetings and use the phone when you feel like drinking.
There are people there that have been thru it probably worse than most. But like most say he or she has to want it first. If the person has close family maybe an intervention could work then rehab then meetings, they need to know people love and care for them to really want to try. If there not doing it for themselves maybe they could be doing it foe a son, daughter of wife.
