No weight on most all I have seen ,although I have done them with belly, or chin, and a few with small tail weight's. You can do what ever you want. The more popular ones seem to be the 6 inch and the 8 inch ones. 5/8 is about right for both models on tail dia. The dimensions vary as I have a bunch of originals and the dia.'s are not all the same, but close. When you make them install the lip first, because it is screwed on. It is a lot easier doing the belly holes in relationship to the lip than vise versa. The only pictures I got are ones I made and they are long gone. I need to make some more, very soon.
