Larry he is the worlds best unknown player IMO. He played the DC club circuit mostly. You should hear his jazz stuff. Completely different than his country and blues stuff. His jazz band was called the Redneck Jazz Explosion.

Strange in that he and Roy Buchanan had a very similar sound, although DG was way more versatile, and they both had trouble lives and both committed suicide. What a shame.
