I am tearing out a metal shade porch (awning thing) roof
on the basement level below my kitchen
and replacing it with a solar collector passive greenhouse that will
effectively heat my basement during the winter on sunny days.
that will give me a sort of staging that i can walk on (outside)
so i can tear out my teeny kitchen window
(the only one facing south)
and then i'll frame it out to accept a window
thats three times it's size.
because:
this winter i went into my kitchen
thats always cold
unless you have the thermostat cranked up to 75........
and i could see my breath.... like you do when outside...
and i said to myself...
THATS IT !!!!

)
time for some drastic changes here at the ole farm...ayep
