I have several bags (5 or 6) that are relatively small, and as you have done, have them set up for very specific spots. There is a lot of gear/plugs that go into the back of the Jeep as well.
A small Surfcaster five tube always on my belt - 3 Bombers, last two slots rotate and pretied leaders.

The other small or tall smallish bags are set up for various spots ie: Inlet bag, Back Bay bag, Night Beach bag, Dawn Bag (That one might even get a Jersey Death Machine... Just Kidding - a SS Sinking Littleneck)

I used to carry larger bags, but as my collection of plugs and jigs grew along with my logs and knowledge of my local spots, I found it much easier to use small bags and stop lugging around things that were not getting used at a particular spot.

DJ - How are you?
