my sit in fiberglass had horible tracking until i epoxyed and fiber-glassed in a homemade keel made out of marine plywood, could do that with a sit on top i bet.

ss- ive been in a kayak in the ocean plenty of times, and yes its a sit in. most sea kayaks are. have flipped it plenty of times and farther out than i would like to be but always was able to get back in and going again. sit-in are just not good for surfing, they're more of a means of transportation rather than surfing or diving, or just putting around.
i meant to reply earlyer but i geuss ive looked over this thread for a while.
