You can keep the cape as far as I'm concerned.

Anyone with the wherewithal to overcome all of the above should be rewarded with some fish, even if its a quick blast. The odds are more against consistent fishing success now than ever though.
Closures, birds, and mung have always been factors and they were easy to overcome. Its the lack of fish now that makes it tough to justify the time and expense.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind
