Nice paint as always Bernzy!

Paulbo, I usually place weight in the nose of the pikie, about 0.7 inch back from the front (center of weight hole). 3/8 inch diameter hole. Usually .3-.35 inch slug of lead for the hole. That is for a 7 inch pikie that will weigh 3.2-3.3 oz when rigged with hardware. Bernzy will have to let you know if he put lead in that one. A lot depends on the action you want from the plug. No weight and it will wobble on top more like a red fin. I weigh mine so that the top of the lip (where it goes into the plug) is level with the water line. This creates more of a wobble with a little roll too. Throws a nice wake this way. A little more weight will increase the roll some. Will also depend on the lip and the face cut. A shorter face with weight will create more of a roll.
