Great article George! Always looking for a few more good tips on fishing my conventional gear! Been lazy about it this year as fishing the canal has been a priority and I figured the spinning gear would be an easier way to go.....for this year! I am having an Arra 1204 built conventional over the winter and have an Abu 7000 Big Game ready to drop on the new rod! Figure the 1204 will be a good plugging rod for the canal next year!
