My new surf buggy.

My surfbuggy is almost complete! Went down to the basement and picked out the bike that is best shape after the flood. (Jesus tried to kill us but we built our house 300 cubits long and out of gopher trees.)

Anyways, picked out a 10 speed from the many frames we have in the cellar. You raise three boys and you wind up with a lot of that stuff.

This is how I have it set up. Took a milkcrate and a bungee cord, the best invention known to men behind duct tape, fed it through on top of the handbars. It's wound so tight that it will support my heavy waders and the small tackle bag. The large canyon bag goes around my neck like I would normally wear it. Then I came to a real puzzler. How do I carry the rod?

When I was a little scamp, I did the bike thing but they were tiny freshwater rods. Now I have this 10 foot behemoth. Well my dad and I came up with a just about perfect solution. You know the cross bar, the one that treated you so well when you slipped off the seat and fell on it? (why is it a boy's bike has the bar where it's obviously going to cause pain?) Anyway, if you break the rod down, you can mount it right under the seat and along the bike! We still haven't figured out how to attach it to the bike. My dad says velcro straps but I would be content with twist ties. Any ideas?

Then once I get to the fishing spot, I lock the bike up, put my sandles on the surf bag and get down to business. Patrick has been liberated! Pictures are soon to come. As soon as I fix up the wheels on the bike.

Seeya on the water but you won't see me because it will be at night and I'm invisible.
