i've had plenty of ticks in me
and so far no LYME disease
but the point i'd like to make is....
ticks don't have a dip stick like a mosquito
they turn them selves in
like a screw [ kinda ]
so if you clamp on the body with a pair of
(just before the head)
forceps that you can easily twist or twirl
you can turn them out real easy (
counter clockwise)
yanking them out almost never works.
see the serrations in this blow up pic is why they cannot be
yanked out like a bee or wasp stinger...and must be
UNSCREWED
