i've had plenty of ticks in me

and so far no LYME disease

but the point i'd like to make is....

ticks don't have a dip stick like a mosquito

they turn them selves in like a screw [ kinda ]

so if you clamp on the body with a pair of
(just before the head)
forceps that you can easily twist or twirl

you can turn them out real easy (counter clockwise)

yanking them out almost never works.

see the serrations in this blow up pic is why they cannot be
yanked out like a bee or wasp stinger...and must be UNSCREWED
