Anyone need a laptop for parts?
I have a used Gateway 400SD4 that needs work.
As FAR as I know:
the battery is good and the monitor works, the issue was with the Motherboard.
I had some data recovery done, but unsure of the contents (personal info) so it will NOT include the hard drive.
Selling as is. 20.00, must pick-up in Wakefield, Kingston, Narragansett
Someone who builds laptops can probably make use of this for parts or a shell.
It had, last I knew, working:
CDR, 3.5" Floppy, Modem, LAN, 2 USB drives, a PC slot, Parallel port, 15 Pin Monitor port.
Would readily consider trade in plugs or bucktail jigs, and hate to throw this out, but will if there is no interest.
