Hot turkey delight! A favorite for the cold weather
I got a bunch of hotel style turkey breast that stop and shop had onsale this week. Of course I roast them and have a typical turkey dinner when I do.
One of my favorite leftover meals is what I call hot turkey delight. I heat up gravy to almost a boil. I cut chunks of turkey into cubes and put them right in the simmering gravy. I then pour this combination over mashed potatoes and have a side vegetable.
Reheating the leftover turkey by putting it right in the hot gravy will remoisten even the most dried out white meat.
This makes a great cold weather meal. What's some of other peoples favorites for hearty cold weather food.
