another Guidance Question ( I. T.)

i had a cat-5 cable go bad somehow on living room PC
prolly bitten by the old Parrot long ago....

and with no other cable (long enough) around

i hooked up a net-gear wireless and presto back online

but the problem is (not a real biggy) is that it
logs me out after 25 minutes or so....

so that i have to continually re-enter my User pswd again.

what's the Deal?
i'm clueless on this feature but shouldn't be.
