Tactics? Same as shotgun.
Camo? There's guys that hunt in Carharts in PA. That should tell you something.
Scentblocker/Scentkiller clothing is a scam.
The washes are also a scam. Use 29mules Arm & Hammer or any hypoallergenic wash that doesn't have perfumes or uv brighteners in it.

Would I say it'll take you 10 years to get your first deer? Not if you scout hard and learn what you're looking for and at.

Plenty of hunting and archery forums out there with some GREAT advice to hit up. archerytalk is one, lots of opinions but you can pinch out good and bad info pretty easily and LOTS of people from EVERY area that are willing to give you good sound advice.

Most importantly, get the right draw, get the bow tuned, get some shooting advice, and shoot till your back wants to kill you.

Optional but FUN!: Find a club with a 3d course.
