Last summer I bought my first house, which was a 2 family. Worked 50 hour weeks at work, gutted both units kitchens, baths, etc, and managed to only log 60 hours on the boat. That said, it all got done, and I caught my biggest striper to date.
This summer I'm focussing on the lawn and the wedding, but hope to get some saltwater flyfishing in.
Another year or two, and it will be another house and a baby. Life only gets busier, just need to make the time. Luckily my fiancee loves the boat, has enjoyed her first fishing experiences, and loves to eat what we catch.
