Decided to take the yak out on some sweetwater early this am! Got on the water as the sun came up.....first one on it!! Had only had the yak out once so far this season but I can tell you I am gonna wear it out after the fun morning I had this am!!
Fished the shadow line on the far side of a favorite pond I have spent alot of time on in the past! Cast in towards a weed bed and had a nice fish on but lost it as it spit me out! Put another cast in there and hooked the first bass pictured on my 1 oz. "Prey" swimmer in yellow! They were diggin' it today! Caught a total of 6 bass between 1-3 1/2 pounds! Bass pictured here is the first one I have gotten in the yak since I bought it!
