Walking the beach

Last nite's fishing was a skunk, but the trip was not wasted.

Started out fishing at the breechway in Weekapaug, (I know this is not a god spot spot this early in the season ) and since nobody was catching any fish I started walking the beach to see if I could find any good areas. There are some nice sand barriers building up at some of the same places as last year.

I was fishing with the storm with no luck, I changed to the black bomber because it was dark and cloudy. I had one hit, but I have no idea what it was because I was so suprised that I jerked the rod to hard and pulled the hooks right out.

The point is, I did not get any fish but I had a great time finding new spots for later in the season.

Excuses, excuses.. can't fish worth a d@rn (amateur) lol.
