No kids here but I can understand your point of view as a parent defending your precious child.
Then there a those that defend a child for bring a small pocket knife to school. I suppose that is learning a social kill.
The teacher is there teach and the student lis there to earn and raises his or her hand when they want to speak. This will teach the child respect and knowing the true purpose of what they are there to done.
Kids are tough and will adapt
