Bloocrab, they are called "Sei" in Norwegian, they school up and I think they are in the cod family (Is "Saithe" an english word?, found it here on this link

(The other kind we used to catch a lot of was "vitting"<sp>(Norwegian again) and I think that is weakfish). Most of the fishing was done in the northern part of Norway in a place called Bodų, the area is Saltstraumen.
