Talk about upset ,
Unearthed my crop of sweet potatoes (first time ever) that looked good as gold , see old pictures in another thread
Only to find 1/2 doz 4 inch fingerlings or as I call it ZIPPO
Talked with a local farmer at the farmers market at work here and they said the same thing , the ones I planted sux and they said to use the following
www.newhopeseed.com and to buy the old stand by BEAUREGARD sweet potatoes
They also used the ones I bought with the same results, and also like this vendor better
So , I will try again next year
