Saltheart Registered User iTrader: (1) Join Date: May 2000 Location: Cumberland,RI Posts: 8,555	Opinions on mounting a flat screen TV above a fireplace I don't have a fireplace but a friend of mine just bought a new house with a fireplace they intend to light periodically. It has no insert or stove , just a fireplace where they will burn wood. They want to put a flat screen TV (like a 55 inch) on the wall above the mantel. What's peoples opinions on this?
