You bought it from me, and I did not use it. I bought it from piemma, and he only lightly used it. Here is a quote about the reel from Paul, when I had it listed in 2007;

Just to verify. This reel is mint. There is a fiber seal that goes around the spool. I have never seen a Crack 300 with the seal still intact except for this one. I only took it out once as my wife and kids gave it to me in 94 as a Christmas present. I only sold it because of leaving the surf scene for the boat. Super deal for this quality of a reel that's at least 35 years old.
