Just thought I'd share this. I've been having an amazing season bass fishing from shore this year. So far I have 38 fish in 7 trips, average fish being 2 lbs, biggest just over 4, all on rubber worms and lizards. Today I was at my spot and a girl and her boyfriend came down to fish, which is unusual because I never see anyone there, but anyways, they weren't hooking up so I threw them some worms and lizards and told them how to fish them. Her boyfriend was clueless, but the girl got the casting down... I was thoroughly impressed. I already had 4 small fish, but she ended up hooking a monster on a lizard. Her drag was broken so she couldn't get the fish in. I told her BF to reel it in by hand and he yanked it and the hook straightened But she was thrilled and you know how it goes with girls, it's great to see them fishing. I had an extra rod in my truck that I hardly use so I gave it to her and told her to keep it. The expression on her face was priceless.

I may have compromised my honey hole, but I think it was worth it. And I ended up with 6 fish( nothing big) before I left so I was content Just thought I'd share...
