Squidkidsdad get screwed times five

Mike's ankle let go on him several months ago. Tendons and bones deteriated (diabetes probably) to the point his right ankle turned 90 degrees to the right. New England Baptist surgeons just turned it back the other way by reattaching five bones, with screws and bone grafts, that had come unglued, shortening two tendons and reattaching them, plus using some bone from his knee to fuse in the ankle to help with the process. So the operation looks like it was successful and he is going to rehab in Weymouth somehwere today where he'll be for awhile.

In two weeks they will take the bandages off and put on a cast, and cntonue with rehab for quite sometime.

He stayed in the private suite where all the athletes stay after they have been operated on. Could see Fenway Park and of course the Citgo sign. Two nurses had him standing yesterday trying to get him to pee. One on one side and the other on the other side. He finally said, no way way I am going to be able to pee in front of you two especially while one of you is holding the cup. He could use some of the great mojo found here. Thanks
