Axis was the first album I bought that wasn't Beatles or Beach Boys. Little did I know.......

You had to see him to believe. First time was 1968, Charlotte Coliseum, then Atlanta Pop Festival, July 4th. 1969. He played the Star Spangled Banner as the clock hit midnight, with a huge fireworks show going off behind the stage. I feel fortunate that I was there and still remember (most) of it.
