About the only time I really get angry at bluefish is when I pick one up that's over a school of bass.
I got a 32 incher this very morning off the beach in Narragansett and it was really fun.
What I dislike is when some people "murder" blues when they catch them apparently because they think of them as less than living beings or something.
What other fish is as abundant and as full of fight as the bluefish at this time of year?
Catch and release--even the lowly blue!! If not, we'll be catching scup!!
