I disagree, although I mainly use mine for plugging, it does a better job at throwing chunks than any of my fancy graphite rods, which can throw a hook and sinker really far, but leave the bunker chunk 20 feet to my right at the edge of the water . I'm talking about 4 or 5 ounce sinkers, not Carolina 8 n Bait stuff.

If I could only have one stick, it would be an SB121-3M, a little heavy, but more fun than lifting free weights.
