My lastr kayak trip was this past weekend up on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. Woke on SUnday to 1-2 inches of snow and temps hovering around freezing. launched to a section of the lake that was "flat as glass" calm, broken only by passing sleet showers.
I bottom fished and managed to get a bucket load of perch, of course the bucket would be a child's sand pail as the persh were around 3-5" in length. I hit a small marina(no boats) and fished around the docks for awhile before calling it a day with a few small bass to end the trip.

There are big fish there, but they are harder to get because they are migrating from their summer/fall spots to their fall/winter spots.

Luckily I know where their winter spots are, so I should be ready for the ice!!!

I am a legend in my own mind!
