				"Session" ipas

As a big IPA fan, I have tried to appreciate this style but it just seams like a waste to me. All day, go to and easy jack are ok but nothing special (very disappointed in the ballast point one). I'm done with these in favor of lagers and lighter pale ales for summer cookouts and day drinking. Tried a bunch this weekend and really wish I just did Brooklyn summer and victory summer instead, or just gansett pounders. |

				 | My "session" IPA is Sierra Nevada pale ale. True, it's not an IPA but it's perfect for this hop head.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

				 | Yeah I think its safe to say the market is flooded with California style ipa's. But the ballast point sculpin was decent I thought. Just because you mentioned session, Jacks Abbey, Jabby brau is a good session pale lager, has nice subtle hop notes. Tried that one out clogston? |

				 | I've been trying to embrace them....just so I'm not done with the cookout early. Those 8% beers catch up to you on a long day of drinking.
I've found a couple that are good. Newburyport brewery has the Melt away IPA that is very drinkable.

Rising Tides Maine Island Trail Ale is also very good.....

				 | I also think the Sculpin is good. And "Session" brewery makes a good dark beer, not anything special just goes down really easy.Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device

				 | My go to is the Laguinitas IPA. Good solid drinking IPA in my opinion. |

				 | Just stumbled into Lawson's Super Session at the local pizza joint. Very good, but very similar to Sculpin. Nice to see Lawson's is starting to proliferate a bit here in CT. |
