Too bad - two weeks ago we were on our way to a nice early season in freshwater. Not anymore - ice has been building in thickness in both fresh and salt water marshes.

Was playing a lot of golf and my son beat me to me early spring spot and the bass, pickeral and panfish were biting. Fired up the snow blower yesterday to make sure it hadn't died of boredom. I'm hoping the more westerly track pans out, which means my Hyannis golf course might be spared the big snow and will open more quickly. I almost had taken the kayak trailer off the blocks, but now I'm glad I left it were it was stored. I think the skis are going in for a Wednesday outing in the hope it isn't all groomed.

I'll be camping out at work, company calls it "sheltering in place".
They offer cots and sleeping bags, but I'll be bringing in my own heavy-duty cot and additional sleeping gear to ensure at least some comfort.

Its still winter and you would expect any less from New England weather . I am glad we are getting a lot of snow and hoping for a lot of rain the rest of the month or more snow . We are still in a big deficit as far as ground water goes .
This is just a rant :
It also will make it so the rat in Hartford wont have a reason to not stock rivers again for lack of water .
As soon as 5am comes I will take a ride around for a couple hours .

Mostly rain in Plymouth, I have my skis ready to go for an early morning departure, I'm glad I don't have to break out the snow blower first.

Hard to tell with the drifts- wind has been steady w/ 40 mph gusts here easy. Snow is packed tight. I just plowed my driveway and it averaged 16" or so.
+1 on needing more rain.

Northern NE got a bunch, Jay Peak got 36" for that snow storm and others as much as 50" in the last 48 hours; i'm so glad I live near the coast and am actually playing golf tomorrow in Hyannis.
