I am certain that is what will happen.

So am I. In the mid 1980s you could float a live herring under a balloon, and walk it all the way down past the cribbin on a west tide, without ever seeing another fisherman. Get back to the run and your herring basket would be undisturbed. You could throw jigs and skins all night in some of the most popular spots, and the only thing that would annoy you were the bluefish who ripped up your skins. On the rare occasions when there was a morning plug bite, you might get 20 guys spread from the Sag to pole 160. All locals.

It's coming again. No doubt in my mind.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.
