well, no weight on her, but i got a FAT 53" last fall from the cape. that is the biggest bass i have ever witnessed! she was the third or fourth fish in the series. i always say that ANY hog i catch, if she can swim off on her own, will! and so she did. i had found a hole that was full of big bass. i landed 6 fish before i ran out of eels. the smallest was 27#'s, the rest bottomed out the 30# boga with ease. others were into some good fish that night, but i didn't see anything as big as my girl. one guy even had the nuts to call me crazy for letting her go
, but i was happy with the outcome.
