Sounds like a home grown terrorist, bomb skills exhibited seem to indicate some sort of training, although you can find online training for almost anything today (sadly).

I know one thing for certain. We all need to have more bombs. If everyone was concieling a bomb, they could protect us from other bombers. We would have good guy bombers protecting us from bad guy bombers......

There was a recent article of fairly smart person in NatSec circles on a bit of a crusade to have the government chase "Right Wing Extremeism". This guy is pretty smart but extensively left leaning.
Would not the proper criteria to be to look into ALL Extremism? Regardless of Political Bend or religious ideology? All extremism is a threat?

No, it doesn't but the current political climate with the polarization on both sides gives people justification for their extreme views.

You are right, but it is an abundance issue. Over the last decade or so something like 75 percent of murder by domestic extremists were by right wing extremists. Left wing extremism has been pretty unusual post Vietnam era.
