Michelin Defender LTX

I got mine at Sullivan Tire in Newport for my 2004 F-150, last fall and I love them. Total cost was around $760 or so because I found a $60 rebate for them (honestly the reason I got them at first) They are good all season tires that run very quiet and are great highway tires (I commute from S. Kingstown to Newport daily). With a 7 rating in snow, they may not be best for pushing a plow, but last winter they performed perfectly for me.

Thanks, that's the exact tire the online chat person at Michelin recommended.

My F150 had Hankooks on it when I got it. I'm in no way knowledgeable about tires, but I thought it gave a smooth ride and got over 65,000 miles when Ford gave me an estimate to replace them with the same tire. Their estimate seemed high but they said if you found the same tire for cheaper they'd beat the price. Found them on sale at Walmart for $65 per tire cheaper. Ford generously beat the price by $1 and waived the install fees when I told them Walmart installed for free.
