Yup, thats why I did mine myself. I figured (not sure if it's true), that if you hire someone to do it, and they find any leakage at all they are required to notify the proper hazmat type authorities?
But, I'll tell you getting those suckers out with just a shovel and an engine hoist is a b**ch. It had to be 8' long and 3' diameter, then slicing it up with a sawzall
It was a 30-pack job, easy

If any of you youngsters think it would be way cool to restore a 100+ year old house, just drop me a line - you'll be wishin you did.
