You can praise dictators, like Trump does, and refuse to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin for allegedly killing critics because, “Well, I think our country does plenty of killing also.”

Context, my boy, context. He has said many marvelously good things
about this country and negative things about China and Russia in different contexts.

Picking and choosing in order to slant, my boy, is a form of lying.

Perhaps then you should look at what Trump has picked and chosen to say about Ilhan Omar

The framing of his attacks on Omar often targeted her refugee status, religion and ethnicity, and reveal how much the president is willing to bend the truth to make it seem that Omar is an enemy of the United States.

For now, on the right, we have the man with the biggest megaphone in the country leading a mob in chanting for the expulsion of a political opponent — a US citizen! — from the country. I reject most everything that Ilhan Omar stands for, but this is degrading, disgraceful behavior from an American president. This is Two-Minute Hate stuff.
