5 years and counting...installed under the console.. still looks like new....I've even run it for 6 hours straight last season when my bait pump died...

Put in the ShurFlow 4.0 gpm pump today...
It works great, then it doesn’t work great... dah
It acts like it’s s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& air, it is s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& , one minute a ton of pressure the next air mixed in ,,, WTF
No leak on the pressure side.....
It’s getting the water from the live well pump Y fitting ... the lower outlet?

Do you have a value shutting off the route to the livewell pump when you’re using it? I’m not 100%, but it may be that the flow rate of the pump is creating enough pressure at the “y” where you’re sharing the pickup with the livewell pump that it’s pulling from both directions at that junction. Turning off the ability for it to backflow air from the livewell pump may help you at least troubleshoot the new unit.

Thought that might be it also, shut the valve in the LW tank and problem still...
the seacock with LW pump is in an impossible location, can only reach it with one hand....
this ain’t going to b fun :-(

Ray, remember I had the same boat. I moved mine in the off season so I could get at it with ease.
