Still designing...
Was gonna do a 2 oz deep darter, but I don't have any fast water within drving distance to test it. It works fine in flat water, dives down and runs like a drunken sailor at about 8-10 feet, but it will pop out occassionally at a fast retrieve, so it still needs tweaking. I'll probably turn out a tried 'n true popper design I worked on all summer... slightly under 2 oz... the way I saw some of you canal casters slinging lead in the Ditch, this thing outta be outlawed in your arsenal... even in a headwind, it flies like a small rocket at takeoff. Blue over silver OK?
