Reade’s distaste for America closely tracked her new infatuation with Russia and Putin. She referred to Putin as a “genius” with an athletic prowess that “is intoxicating to American women.” Then there’s this gem: “President Putin has an alluring combination of strength with gentleness. His sensuous image projects his love for life, the embodiment of grace while facing adversity.”

In March 2019, Reade essentially dismissed the idea of Russian interference in the 2016 American presidential election as hype. She said she loved Russia and her Russian relatives — and "like most women across the world, I like President Putin … a lot, his shirt on or shirt off.”

I agree she's in line with Biden. But I was thinking, and I could well be wrong, that he needs someone who the progressive wing will like, because they don't like him, they wanted Bernie, and if Bernie supporters stay home like many did in 2016, he can't win. But Warren isn't going to win over any independents in swing states, but who knows if VPs ever do that.

From my perspective I would love if he picked Abrams as I think she'd prove to be very Sara Palin-like. State legislature to VP is a huge leap as you said.

It will be an interesting choice. Depends on which boxes they think are most important to check off.

When did I claim to know anything that's not public knowledge? I guess I'm speculating that Reade didn't agree to work with him for the intent of bashing her credibility. I think that's a safe bet.

It may turn out she made up the whole thing because the Koch brothers paid her to do so. But how do you already know that it's not just what she says?

1. Have an investigation, I have said it multiple times here, as have others. If it happened when he was a senator, have a senate investigation. I will read what Farrow comes up with, and make my own opinion later.

2. Is it attacking the victim to bring in her own tweets and quotes? If she is out there tweeting and commenting about Biden a year or two ago and now does a 180 on it, it bears questioning that she isn't a nutjob, albeit one we should at least hear out.
